The American Hockey League's streaming platform, AHLTV, will be accessible on a new platform beginning with the 2024-25 season according to information received by some AHL teams' season ticketholders Thursday morning.

The league will be migrating their streaming service to FloSports, who currently also stream hockey games from several leagues including the ECHL, SPHL, CJHL (Canadian Jr A), USHL and BCHL.

The current rate for the FloSports network is $30/monthly and $150/annually, and based off information some season ticketholders in the AHL received that price point will continue.

According to information given to an AHL team's season ticketholders Thursday, a special discounted rate will be available for season ticketholders - though at this time that might be on a team-to-team basis as details continue to emerge following this initial report.

The assumption at present time is that AHLTV will be absorbed into the full FloHockey package, but that is unconfirmed.

Additionally, AHLTV was built by HockeyTech who developed HockeyTV - the same product Flo took over a few years ago - perhaps indicating the transition shouldn't affect the overall quality of the AHL's streaming product in their new home moving forward.

Stay tuned here as this story will be updated as more information becomes available.
