WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins feel like they got burned by the American Hockey League's (AHL) officiating Friday night on a play in overtime that was initially ruled no goal but subsequently overturned and ruled a game winning goal for the Toronto Marlies - putting the Penguins in a 0-2 series deficit in the Eastern Conference Finals as the series shifts to Canada for Games 3, 4 and 5* beginning Monday night.

Head coach Kirk MacDonald didn't agree with the officials decision, but took the high road several times when asked questions about the call during his post-game media availability.

Initially scored as Marc Johnstone's goal 14:53 into overtime, it was Michael Pezzetta's flip toward the net and a subsequent leaping attempt by Penguins goaltender Sergei Murashov to swat the puck that ultimately caused the puck to go into the back of the home team's net.
