The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are scheduled to have two preseason games before the anticipated start date of the American Hockey League's regular season arrives. The 2020-21 season is slated to begin on February 5, though the league is still finalizing the regular season playing schedule.

The Phantoms are scheduled to host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, January 29th at 7:00 p.m. ET before finishing their preseason schedule with a Sunday afternoon face-off in Hershey against the Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Janaury 31st, according to the league's preseason schedule.

Fans should expect these preseason contests to be closed to the public, as Phantoms' co-owner Jim Brooks previously told InsideAHLHockey.com that the Phantoms weren't expecting to have fans to start but there was potential that they will be able to in the future.

"We don't envision having fans right away, but we are hopeful based on the information we have that we can conduct a safe environment that would allow for fans," Brooks said earlier this month.
